Caros Colegas e Amigos,

É com grande entusiamo que vos desafio a participar no XIII Congresso Português de Ginecologia que terá lugar de 4 a 6 de Junho de 2015, no Centro de Congressos do Hotel Solverde, em Espinho. Em 2015 a Sociedade Portuguesa de Ginecologia comemora 40 anos de existência e por isso decorrerão várias iniciativas com vista a celebrar essa data tão especial. O local escolhido vai-nos fazer reviver os momentos de sucesso dos Congressos da Sociedade Portuguesa de Ginecologia anteriormente realizados no Hotel Solverde. Durante o Congresso serão abordados e discutidos temas da maior atualidade dentro das variadas áreas de interesse da nossa especialidade. Contamos com prelectores nacionais e internacionais de reconhecido valor capazes de incentivar e motivar o debate e a desejável troca de ideias. Em atenção aos Colegas mais jovens em formação foram organizados os cursos pós-congresso de índole essencialmente prática. A organização do XIII Congresso Português de Ginecologia teve presente a preocupação de tornar esse evento numa ocasião privilegiada de encontro dos ginecologistas de todo o País, podendo ser aproveitada para troca de experiências e divulgação de trabalhos clínicos e de investigação. Acresce que, durante o Congresso ocorrerá a Assembleia Geral para eleger os corpos sociais que orientarão os destinos da nossa Sociedade para o próximo triénio. Tudo isso são condimentos que legitimam o meu apelo à vossa participação maciça e alimentam as nossas expectativas no sucesso deste XIII Congresso.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am very excited to challenge you to participate on the XIII Portuguese Gynecology Congress, taking place in June 4-6, 2015 at the Solverde Congress Center in Espinho. In 2015 the Portuguese Gynecology Society is celebrating 40 years of existence and for that reason several initiatives will take place in order to commemorate such a special occasion. The chosen venue will lead us to revive the success moments of past Portuguese Gynecology Society Congresses held at the Solverde Hotel. During the Congress the opportunity to address and debate current issues regarding the various areas of interest in gynecology will arise. The faculty includes national and international renowned speakers that will be able to encourage and boost meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas. In consideration to our younger colleagues and in view of their training needs there will be post-congress courses of practical nature. The organizing committee of the XIII Portuguese Gynecology Congress took into account the objective of turning the meeting into a privileged occasion for gynecologists from all over the country to meet, exchange experiences and present their research and clinical work. Further, the General Assembly of the Portuguese Gynecology Society will take place during the event, in order to elect the social bodies that will lead the society in the next three years. All these are main reasons that encourage me to call out for your attendance and to nourish our expectations regarding the success of this XIII Congress. With my warmest greetings
